In 1984, Tom Filsinger proposed a wrestling game to the World Wrestling Federation only to be rejected in favor of a Milton Bradley game. This rejection inadvertently led to the creation and success of Champions of the Galaxy, a sci-fi RPGish wrestling dice-and-card game that can be played alone or with two or more friends, and which features hundreds of characters from the future of professional wrestling. Since then Tom has expanded and the game has kept a fierce following for over 30 years with a new story-line expansion released every year. Add to this his numerous collaboration with wrestling legends (Randy Savage, Harley Race, D.D.P....) and federations (Ring of Honor, Chikara....) and you have a company with decades of fans. Tom was nice enough to take some time to answer a few questions about Filsinger games and it's longevity.
So this review is going to be a little different. I am going to review the box as a whole rather than individual games, but let me give you a little bit on each of the games.
